Common Sense Parenting

This program are for parents, grandparents or caregivers.  The skills learned can be used with any parenting style and with any single parent, two-parent, or multi-parent set of rules.


                                    Meaningful

  •  Teaching Self-Control

  •  Staying Calm

  •  Positive/Negative Consequences

Participants will learn how to:

  •  Reduce family stress

  •  Support success in school

  •  Diminish yelling and fighting

  •  Reduce problem behavior

  •  Increase confidence

  •  Enrich their relationships with their children

 Classes are held for six Tuesdays from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Healthcare Center.  The cost is $30.00 for all six nights.  The reference book is optional and costs $15.00.  Scholarships are available.

Childcare assistance is available, ask about this when calling to register.  A light meal will be provided each night at class.
