Conversation:  It's What's For Dinner!

Dawn Tassler, Executive Director of Growing Up Together and Ruby L. Douglas, Community Prevention Networker, Capital Area Counseling Service, Inc., have joined forces to sponsor, the 3rd Annual “Conversation:  It’s What’s for Dinner”.   The event will be held at 6:00 PM on March 30, 2010 at the Fort Pierre Youth Involved Center.  Middle school and high school parents and their children are invited to attend an entertaining and educational evening out.   The event is FREE to the public but limited to 200 people.
Milton Creagh will present a motivational program "Who Are You?"
Milton examines the factors that most strongly influence our thoughts, belief systems, opinions, and our actions.  How the use of alcohol, tobacco and illegal drugs affect the life decisions made.  Milton addresses how we can easily lose ourselves in other people's expectations of us, sometimes with disastrous results.  He presents all-too-common scenarios, and teaches that there's always a road that leads back to the true you.

Milton Creagh, aka Big Milt, is best known for his hard-hitting, inspirational talks to high school students.  Milt attended Bethune-Cookman College on a combination athletic and academic scholarship.  Milt is the former host of the national PBS series, Parenting Works.  He hosted two prime time specials for WPBA Channel 30, Atlanta.  Milt is the author of Nobody Wants You Child, a guide for parents who wish to teach their children the principles of successful living.  He divides his time between Atlanta and Chicago.
